Toronto, Canada – July 2025 – United Seas Info (USI), a Canada-based education service

organization, has officially launched the Pathway to Excellence program—an immersive study

tour tailored for outstanding Chinese university students. The program aims to prepare students

for international study by providing firsthand experience in top Canadian universities and iconic

cultural landmarks.

During the multi-city tour across Ontario and Québec, students visited the University of

Toronto, University of Waterloo, McGill University, Queen’s University, and University of

Ottawa. They attended rich academic lectures covering topics such as academic writing,

innovative thinking, global supply chain resilience, and cross-cultural communication, gaining

the unique opportunity to learn directly from Canadian professors and engage in world-class

academic environments.

“We wanted students not only to learn about Canadian universities but to truly experience academic life and campus culture here,” said a USI representative. “The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with students showing significant growth in their academic planning and self-awareness.”

Beyond the classroom, students lived in university residences to get an authentic feel of North

American campus life. They also explored iconic cultural sites, including Niagara Falls,

Parliament Hill, and Montréal’s Old Port, broadening their international perspectives and

enhancing cultural understanding and adaptability.

“This study tour helped me clarify my goals for graduate studies abroad,” said one participant. “For the first time, I experienced what a Canadian classroom feels like and became more certain of the path I want to pursue.”

The program also included specialized workshops led by experienced international education

advisors, covering global career planning, study-abroad application strategies, and bilingual

and multicultural adaptation, laying a solid foundation for students’ international academic

journeys.

The Pathway to Excellence program is a core initiative by USI to support Asian students in

enhancing their global mobility and international competence. The next sessions are scheduled

soon, welcoming more universities and students to join.
